• Premedicate patients on the day of Onpattro infusion, at least 60 minutes before starting the infusion. Monitor patients throughout infusion for signs/symptoms of IRRs. If an IRR emerges, slow/interrupt the infusion and institute medical management (e.g.,corticosteroids or other symptomatic treatment).
• If the infusion of Onpattro 10 mg injection is interrupted, consider resuming at a reduced infusion rate only in case signs/symptoms have resolved. In case of a severe or life-threatening IRR, the infusion needs to be discontinued and not resumed. 
• Onpattro therapy may be responsible for causing reduction in the levels of serum vitamin A. Supplementation at the required daily allowance of vitamin A is recommended for those taking Onpattro. Higher doses than the required daily allowance of vitamin A should not be given to try to achieve normal serum vitamin A levels, as serum vitamin A levels typically do not evince the whole vitamin A in the body.
• Patients taking treatment with Onpattro 2 mg should be referred to an ophthalmologist in case they develop ocular signs/symptoms suggestive of vitamin A deficiency (e.g., night blindness).
• Patients are instructed that if they are pregnant or want to become pregnant while on treatment with Onpattro they should inform their health specialist. Female patients of childbearing age are advised for risk to the fetus. 
• It’s not specified if Patisiran passes into breast milk or if it can affect the milk production. If patients are currently breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed during their treatment, they should discuss with their doctor about whether Patisiran is appropriate for you.
